Operation SUNshine is a captivating dark comedy, coming-of-age story and tainted love letter to Toronto.
"From 1988-1991, 'Wild’ Bill, my dad's former boarder, covered the walls and ceiling of our two-piece, windowless basement bathroom with SUNshine Girls, models who'd posed for the tabloid newspaper the Toronto SUN. Bill moved out in 1996. The SUNshine Girls remained. After my dad died in 2014, I plunged the depths of his bungalow on a rescue mission to release the paper prisoners, dull, brown, frozen in time and weathered in a harsh and unforgiving environment."
